As an “At Large” member of the School Board, I will keep an “open door policy” that enables me to understand and consider the views of all stakeholder groups in my oversight, advocacy, and policy-making roles on the School Board.
I consider the representatives of student, parent, teacher, and other employee organizations and other stakeholder groups as partners in fulfilling my oversight, advocacy, and policy-making roles on the School Board. They provide valuable insights into what is working well, what needs to be improved, and how best to make changes.
